Work Schedule and Shift Premiums

Part time | Nights (7p-7a) | 24 hours per week, including every other weekend

2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour; 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour; weekend premium is an additional $2.00/hour

Qualifications

• 
  

  Attending an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy. In the process of becoming credentialed and licensed in the State of Michigan

  
  

Responsibilities

• Performs routine respiratory care procedures as directed by CRT/RRT


• Performs diagnostic testing which may include EKG’s, Holter Monitors and Event Monitors


• Sets up and monitors oxygen delivery according to physician orders


• Administers medication to patients via NMT/MDI/DPI as prescribed by a physician, under the supervision of a CRT/RRT


• Performs pulmonary clearance procedures on patients utilizing PEP, Vest and CPT


• Charts response and progress of therapies administered in EMR. Appropriate documentation of education and Care Plan. Follows through with other required documentation (72 hr. reassessments, charges)


• Prioritizes workload appropriately, completing assignments as expected
