Kona Kai San Diego Resort is a boutique urban resort located on Shelter  Island. With 170 guestrooms, Kona Kai Resort is home to Vessel  Restaurant + Bar, SpaTerre, a marina  and a private club, all located  just minutes from  downtown San Diego. We are excited to welcome a new Seasonal Restaurant Greeter  to our island-inspired resort. Someone who wants to be part of the Kona Kai culture, to stay a while  and serve with a purpose. Come out and be part of the serenity of peaceful waterfront views at our friendly full-service San Diego harbor  view hotel, surrounded by eleven acres of lush tropical gardens and calm water scenery!

As a Restaurant Greeter, you are the first face of the restaurant. You will greet our guests for their memorable meal, manage the flow of the shift, take reservations and more. Your friendly smile will make all the difference in the guest’s first impression.

 This role will report to: Food & Beverage Manager 

Requirements

YOU:

As a Seasonal Restaurant Greeter at Vessel Restaurant + Bar,  you are the first face of the restaurant. You will greet our guests for their memorable meal, manage the flow of the shift, take reservations and more. Your friendly smile will make all the difference in the guest’s first impression.

Qualifications:

1. Previous customer service experience preferred

2. Positive, upbeat personality works well on a team, desire to learn, and able to multi-task

3. Hours will vary-- flexible schedule required

4. Attention to details

5. Ability to stand long periods of hours
