Restorative Therapy Aide/ CNA PT Day 1500 Bonus

As a Restorative Therapy Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Baptist Health & Rehab, you'll work with our therapy and nursing teams to provide rehabilitation care for residents recovering from physical injuries. This includes assisting with positioning, transfers and therapeutic exercises. You will also perform 4 hours of CNA duties during your shift. 

Position Type: Part-Time

Shifts:  6:00 am to 2:30 pm (6am-10am as CNA; 10a-2:30p as Restorative Therapy Aide)

Location: 3400 Nebraska Drive, Bismarck, ND 58503

Restorative Therapy Aide/ CNA Responsibilities:

• Prepare residents for treatment therapy and follow individual care plans.
• Transport patients to and from treatment areas, using wheelchairs or providing standing support.
• Assist with body positioning, transfers, therapeutic exercises, active or passive range of motion.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Prepare, clean and maintain work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Restorative Therapy Aide/ CNA Qualifications:

• Good standing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the North Dakota Registry.
• 1+ year of LTC experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to use a variety of mechanical lifts, transfer belts and therapy equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
