SUMMARY
The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through the sale and service of retail merchandise. This position plays a key role in maintaining merchandising standards, inventory levels, and the overall presentation of the retail space. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about product features and benefits and be confident in recommending appropriate retail selections to meet guest needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Oversee all aspects of the retail store’s daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
2. Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries or concerns.
3. Actively promote retail products and provide detailed information on product features, uses, and current promotions.
4. Provide personalized assistance to guests with product selection and complete sales transactions accurately.
5. Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing for guests.
6. Fulfill online orders, manage mail orders, and support special promotions.
7. Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment.
8. Tag and display incoming merchandise as assigned.
9. Support routine inventory counts and audits.
10. Assist with operational needs at other on-property retail outlets, such as covering lunch breaks or providing additional support as needed
11. Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.

1. Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining ideal customer service.
2. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.
3. Ability to remain calm under pressure; able to work as a team or independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing. Have frequent need to perform standing and walking activities.
2. Constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger dexterity.
4. Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. frequently and 25 lbs. occasionally.
5. Vision requirements: constant need to view small print. Frequent need to see small details and things clearly beyond arms' reach.
6. Hearing requirements: constant need to speak on telephone and/or two-way radio, respond to general public and converse with staff. Ability to hear fire alarms and emergency equipment.
