Retail Cashier - Part Time

Amazing Cashier

Being a Cashier at Ace is so much more than just ringing up customer purchases.  Ace Amazing Cashiers are the first and last impression for customers. They know the location for every item in the store, are gurus for answering questions about merchandise, policies, promotions and are simultaneously able to help customers on the floor, at the register, and on the phone without breaking a sweat!

What you will be doing

• Communicating and Interacting with People - While each day is different one thing is constant - your day is centered around assisting your team and our customers from the moment the enter the store till they leave the parking lot
• Sharing your knowledge– Help customers find what they need, make any personal recommendations, and share cool new products and promotions that are happening at the store. 
• Keeping the store running - Making sure checkout area and shelves are straightened and stocked, keep register lines moving to customers can get moving with their projects.
• Problem Solving – Hiccups happen!  But luckily you are there to proactively resolve issues and customer concerns while sticking to company policies
• Learning new things - Have a helpful attitude? We’ll train you on all you need to know know-from hardware to new products skills.

• You enjoy moving and being on your feet at work are able to stock shelves and help customers get their purchases into their car (that is often items such as 25LB bags of soil and occasionally 50LB bags of concrete)
