We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Shift Leader who can support the team, serve our guests, and keep the store running smoothly.

 

This role includes opening and closing the store, directing Team Members, handling cash and keys, and preparing confections using hot production equipment. Availability for assigned openings or closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

• Lead assigned shifts, provide clear direction, and coach Team Members.

• Scan the store, recognize where help is needed, adjust priorities, and step in to keep work flowing smoothly.

• Open or close the store and complete required procedures.

• Welcome guests, resolve routine concerns, and model exceptional service.

• Serve Kilwins products and prepare or cook confections using designated equipment as trained.

• Count drawers, access the safe, prepare deposits, approve authorized refunds and voids, and protect keys and alarm codes.

• Help ensure minors receive required breaks, work permitted hours, and use age-appropriate equipment.

• Communicate shift updates and promptly report employee, cash, safety, guest, or equipment concerns.

 

You’ll probably enjoy this role if you lead by example, communicate clearly, and recognize what needs attention without waiting to be asked. Dependability, sound judgment, and the confidence to respectfully direct others are essential.

 

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Retail, food-service, customer-service, or leadership experience is preferred.

• ServSafe certification—or willingness to obtain it at Kilwins’ expense.

• Availability for assigned openings or closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to stand and walk throughout most of the shift, work safely around hot equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when appropriate.
