Retail Specialist Position Summary (5 hours)

The retail specialist is responsible for performing a variety of inventory, physical retail, merchandising and administrative duties. This includes but is not limited to visual merchandising, data entry, retail transfers, social media and various reporting.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Receive all incoming retail in to MBO, identify discrepancies between invoice and what was received


• Sort and tag new retail for market


• Partner with Retail Buyer to identify studio retail needs


• Create a visual merchandising strategy utilizing color stories at each studio


• Create a cohesive retail experience across all studios by identifying one offs and transferring as necessary


• Analyze studio specific retail performance and make recommendations based on what is selling, not selling, where we may be missing the mark to allow for increased profitability


• Improve retail loss metrics by appropriately transferring and logging all incoming and outgoing retail


• Visit each studio at least 2 times monthly to refresh retail, move items across studios to create a fresh look for the students


• Provide assistance with inventory counts
  


• Plan and create social media content for retail sales and promotions

Qualifications and Skills

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail


• Refined time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines


• Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication skills


• Experience with visual merchandising
