COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active PA medical license
• Board: Board Certified in Rheumatology
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: BLS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Other Qualifications: Ability to function independently and manage established patient panel
• Would consider 2 candidates who could each cover consistently 2 weeks/month on a regular ongoing schedule
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide in-person and virtual patient visits
• Manage established patient panel and assist with care of existing patients
• Review and sign therapy plans and infusion orders
• Oversee infusions performed at UPMC infusion center
• Provide laboratory surveillance and medication refills
• Conduct new patient visits (40 minutes) and follow-up visits (20 minutes)
• Perform joint injections
• Document all patient encounters in Epic EMR
