The Registered Nurse will:

• Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants according to the facilities policies, procedures and standards.
• Perform assessments and complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer and change of condition; chart and document per facility policy
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician and perform other drug administration functions which adhere to state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Communicate to residents, families and co-workers in an effective and respectful manner.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, physicians and co-workers.                                                                                                 

Registered Nurses must have the following:

• Active Illinois nursing license
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Compassionate and Caring attitude
• Time Management skills
• Knowledge of Point Click Care preferred, but not required
• Compliant with the Health Care Worker Background Check requirements with respect to criminal history.
