RN Scrub/Certified Surgical Technologist-30 Hrs

Boston Eye Surgery and Laser Center is an ambulatory surgery center located in Waltham, MA. You are caring for Ophthalmology surgical patients.  

We have an opening for a RN Scrub/ Certified Surgical Technologist in our Waltham location to assist the physician and registered nurse in rendering professional care to patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures within the center, in accordance with established procedures. Works under the direct supervision of the registered nurse.  Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff exhibiting teamwork characteristics.  The schedule is per diem Mon-Thurs varied days. Hours are 7-5:30.PM or 6:30-5PM.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent with one or more years of related work experience in operating room preferred.
• Show proof of Certification.
• Displays a primary interest in giving good patient care and maintaining standards of courtesy and friendliness toward co-workers.
• Membership in surgical specialty society encouraged.
• Must maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support and Surgical Technologist certifications.
• Able to maintain and comply with patient confidentiality and integrity policy on all matters.
