Robotic vehicle technician/Part time

Robot Service Technician (Part-Time | $23–$28/hr | Weekends + Occasional Weekdays)
Columbus Ohio
Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 12 PM – 9 PM, with occasional weekday shifts after 6 PM

Looking for versatile Robot Service Technicians to support the production, maintenance, and repair of self-driving delivery robots. This role involves mechanical and electrical assembly, troubleshooting, fieldwork, and occasional support for R&D projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Assembly

• Assemble cables, harnesses, and connectors

• Install/replace sensors (LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonic)

Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics

• Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues (batteries, suspensions)

• Execute service campaigns and incident investigations

Field & R&D Support

• Travel locally to support field operations

• Assist in rapid prototyping and inventory management

• Support R&D experiments as needed

Requirements:

• Experience with mechanical/electrical tools and measuring equipment

• Skilled in assembly/disassembly and working with AC/DC circuits

• Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings

• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR (no CDL required)

• Able to lift/move items over 50 lbs and work in field environments

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Collaborative, communicative, and adaptable

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in automotive, manufacturing, or dealership service

• Soldering skills and advanced computer literacy
