Rock Wall Attendant

 Come join our team! As a Rockwall Climbing Attendant  

Essential Functions of the job:

1. Know and enforce all climbing wall policies and procedures.? 
2. Visually inspect equipment and facility during opening and closing of wall and report any problems immediately.? 
3. Provide supervision of climbing wall participants to include belaying, auto-belaying, and spotting climbers. 
4. Belay climbers as needed.? 
5. Provide climbing instruction following established curriculum.? 
6. Help climbers by:? 
7. determining the eligibility of individuals to use the climbing wall 
8.  teaching/demonstrating proper use of climbing equipment (harnesses, belay devices, shoes, etc.)? 
9. maintaining accurate and current records of attendance, equipment inventory, and a list of those certified to belay? 
10. accurately complete all forms and checklists.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  

1. Knowledge of indoor rock climbing including climbing technique, belaying, routes and rating systems, and rock-climbing safety equipment.? 
2. CPR/First Aid certification required  
3. Belayed certification required  
4. Certification in Rock Climbing instruction preferred? 
5. 18 years of age
