Rte Department Lead-2Nd Shift-(Cb2)

Description

• Manage team members and ensure safety and GMP compliance on the floor
• Meet production targets and yield goals
• Change film (top and bottom) and zippers
• Operate or learn all RTE equipment including Multivac, slicer, peeler, pack off, Osprey, box erector, palletizer, label, and tape machines
• Complete production and QA paperwork for each line
• Perform product and line changeovers
• Monitor equipment performance and maintain proper function
• Inspect product packaging for seal and zipper defects
• Train new team members
• Maintain accurate production and downtime records
• Provide effective communication and employee feedback
• Work closely with supervisors, management, and USDA
• Assist Supervisor and Superintendent with other duties as assigned

• Manufacture product consistent with specifications
• Complete mandatory safety training
• Complete mandatory food safety and GMP training
• Assist with product reconditioning as directed

• Work in a refrigerated environment (10°F–40°F)
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Fast‑paced environment with repetitive motion
• Ability to work multiple shifts and overtime as needed

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
