Safety and Security Officer - Part Time

Security Officer  /Part-Time 

JOB SUMMARY

The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all people who are on property belonging to Calvary Worship Center (CWC) located at 501 Castle Road.  They will also protect CWC’s property at this location as well.  This will be done in a professional manner using verbal commands to obtain compliance.  If force is required, the Use of Force Continuum shall be the standard model for all Security Officers.

• Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality as appropriate.

Specific Job Duties/Requirements

• Post up at predetermined locations and employ safe tactics to protect staff, visitors, and guests on the campus.


• Attend staff and department meetings on a regular basis


• Attend weekly church service


• Ensure compliance and implementation of policies put in place by leadership


• Attend all required training to stay abreast of current rules and regulation


• Carry only approved equipment as identified in the procedure manual


• Wear appropriate clothing 


• Follow all opening and closing procedures spelled out on the checklist


• Serve as a backup to the Safety Director when he/she is not available.

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to lift an injured person to safety with or without assistance
