We are searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to help tutor students in the Summer. Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will care about the academic success of young students and have experience in organizing classes. This is a part-time position that will require regular communication with tutored students' parents to help ensure that the children are learning and advancing at a steady pace.
Requirements for employment:
- Bachelor's degree (completed)
- Strong background in English
- Prior teaching/tutoring experience is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist high school students in the mastery of SAT English
- Teach daily lessons according to the Elite-designed curriculum
- Instruct multiple students in a small-group tutoring or classroom setting (class sizes range from 5-25 students)
- Monitor and record student progress
- Offer creative solutions to problems, both inside and outside of the classroom
Schedule:
- After school
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute to San Jose, CA 95118 (MUST IN PERSON)
