Job Description - Saturday Part Time Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a warm, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team on Saturday mornings. This role is focused on managing high-volume sick visits efficiently, while also supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, recalls for wellness visits, and payment collection. This is currently a Saturday only position but opportunities may arise to work more hours covering shifts or working during peak back to school season.

Key Responsibilities:

Check-In & Check-Out: Greet families, verify insurance, update records, and guide patients through the visit.

Scheduling & Recalls: Book follow-ups, manage same-day scheduling, and support outreach for overdue wellness visits.

Payments & Records: Collect co-pays, process credit card transactions, and ensure accurate entry in our EHR system.

Team Support: Communicate effectively with providers, medical assistants, and other staff to keep the morning running smoothly.

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills

Excellent organizational skills

Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with EHR's preferred.

Experience in a pediatric or fast-paced medical setting desired

On the job training will be provided

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
