School Age Child Care - Site Supervisor

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00/Hour

Work Schedule (school year): Monday - Friday, from 6:25AM - 8:30AM, and 3:00PM - 5:45PM

Care is provided at Stevens Point public schools before and after school for children grades K-6. The Site Supervisor is responsible for the supervision, administration, development and implementation of curriculum, program compliance, supplies, and safety of the School Age Child Care site, within the policies and procedures of the YMCA and state licensing regulations. Typical work schedules during the school year are Monday - Friday, from 6:25AM - 8:30AM, and 3:00PM - 5:45PM. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must meet the qualifications for Teacher under the DCF 251 Licensing Rules for Group Child Care Centers.
• You must have experience working in programs for children age 5– 12 years.
• Most important, you must enjoy spending time with groups of school-age children, and have an understanding of their behaviors and group dynamics.
• High energy levels, patience, creativity, problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, enthusiasm and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• You must exhibit the Y core values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring.
• Prior to work, all staff will be required to provide a Physician-signed health examination and complete a fingerprint background check.

Certifications:

CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
