We are seeking an outgoing, sales and customer focused individual to be school Assistant Manager at our Fayetteville, AR location. You will be responsible for school sales and service, ensuring the school meets or exceeds defined educational and business performance indicators. The role reports to the General Manager of the school and is supported with full online and hands-on training in our facility. This is a part time role of 15 to 30 hours per week. For the right person, this role has the opportunity to grow into a full time position as School Manager.
Responsibilities:
Student and Parent Engagement: Provide exceptional student experience by engaging with them and their parents to understand their progress, needs and to identify and resolve any issues.
- Leads and Sales: Assist GM in executing school’s lead program, trial experience, and in closing sales. Match customers with the best programs for their abilities. Follow up leads via phone and email. Provide tours of the school. Process enrollments in the school billing system, set up lesson scheduling and walk customers through school policies.
- Customer Service: Provide top-quality customer service, including accurate and timely billing, schedule management and clear and concise communications with customers. Field incoming calls and greet enrolled students and walk-ins. Notify students, parents and instructors of any changes. Accurately reflect absences, cancellations and make-up lessons in the school scheduling system.
- Marketing, Community Outreach and Social Engagement: Coordinate with Marketing Director to drive marketing and promotions that increase school awareness and leads. Assist with community events and outreach efforts, such as participation at farmer's markets and festivals, and through social media activities, such as posting to Facebook and Instagram.
- Shows and Events – Staff front-of-show and community events. Process ticket, program and merchandise sales. Support General Manager/Music Director as needed for at-show administrative tasks.
- Facilities – Maintain school to provide a safe, clean and cool experience for all students, including opening and/or closing school. Ensure office supplies, sales merchandise, and kitchen and bathroom supplies are stocked and that customer areas remain clean and clutter free.
- Training and Staff Meetings – Attend all required training and staff meetings.

Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in a retails sales environment. Must enjoy speaking with customers and closing sales
- High school or equivalent degree required. Two to four years of college coursework or post high school education desired
- 15 - 30 hours per week, Sunday through Thursday. Afternoon/evenings and occasionally Saturdays for shows or community events
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including calling leads, following up with customers and closing sales
- Excellent customer service, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Detailed oriented and multi-tasker in a busy environment
- Comfortable with Apple, Google or Microsoft programs/operating systems
- Interest in working with children
- Being a musician is not required. However, passion and/or interest in music and/or the arts is highly desirable. Rock and roll vibe is a big plus!
- Must pass a background check
