BCCS is a community organization that prides itself on helping members of our community recover with dignity.  We enhance the quality of life by creatively providing Education, Advocacy, Prevention, Early Intervention and Treatment Services. We promote hope and empowerment to persons and families touched by mental illness, substance abuse, HIV and multiple occurring diagnoses, and their related challenges. 

Become a part of the Brandywine Counseling and Community Services (BCCS) team as a Screener. Since 1985, BCCS has helped members of our community recover with hope and self-respect, while improving their physical and mental health.  

The Delaware Evaluation and Referral Program (DSARP) Screener is primarily responsible for completing comprehensive evaluations on all potential clients and make appropriate recommendations based on this information. The Screener is responsible for referring clients to either education or outpatient treatment. The Screener is responsible for entering all evaluations in the electronic medical record. The Screener is responsible for communicating all recommendations to the Program Coordinator-DERP. The Screener is responsible for providing quality, sufficient and appropriate evaluation services and for maintaining high professional standards.  

Requirements

This position is available on a fee for service basis. 

Qualifications 

Highschool Diploma/GED (REQUIRED) 

Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field (Preferred) 

1-3 years' experience in Data entry/collection (REQUIRED) 

1 year drug and alcohol experience (Preferred) 

Schedule: 

Monday-Friday 

Part time. (As needed).
