Seasonal Tasting Table & Customer Service Associate – Share the Spirit of Celebration with Goody Goody Liquor!

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

All store team members play an essential role in building our brand by delivering excellent customer service. As a Seasonal Tasting Table & Customer Service Associate, you will provide service and drive sales by engaging with customers, advising them on products, and creating a welcoming experience at the tasting table and across the store.

This job posting is a seasonal role, you can expect this position to be short-term. At the end of the assignment, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for a non-seasonal position if available.

You Will

• Provide service, drive sales, and encourage repeat business by engaging with customers, recommending products based on their needs, suggesting additional items, and answering questions.
• Conduct in-store tastings of wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages following TABC and company guidelines.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, building rapport, and providing product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, advertisements, and loyalty programs.
• Set up, restock, and break down tasting tables and displays.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities such as light merchandising, front-end assistance, or stocking as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience, with 1+ year in retail or hospitality preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-player mindset.
• Interest or experience in wine, spirits, or beverage retail preferred.
• Comfortable with point-of-sale systems and inventory software (training provided).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements (with or without accommodations)

• Must be 21 years of age or older (per TABC requirements).
• Able to stand, walk, and bend for 8–10 hours per day.
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and climb ladders as needed.
• May be exposed to varying indoor and outdoor temperatures throughout the workday.
