Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance (March through November, $17.00/hour)

Schaumburg Park District is an award-winning parks and recreation agency that provides its 80,000 residents with a wide variety of recreational programs, classes, and events as well as facilities, parks and open spaces! Schaumburg Golf Club is our beautiful white sand 27-hole course on Roselle Road.

JOB SUMMARY

Our seasonal golf course maintenance staff is responsible maintenance of golf course areas (mowing, weeding, divot repair, trash removal), maintenance of sand bunkers (power and hand raking, weeding, edging), maintenance of ornamental beds, shrubs, and trees (planting, watering, weeding, mulching, pruning), operation and maintenance of small maintenance vehicles, mowers, string trimmers and other small equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Prior experience in golf course maintenance is helpful but not required as training will be provided! NOTE: Applicants must possess requisite physical ability to perform the essential job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.

SCHEDULING & PAY

These are seasonal positions from March (weather dependent) through November. Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 5am - 1pm. Overtime work may be required. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.
