Seasonal - Grounds Worker - Part Time or Full Time

Our grounds team works hard to maintain Ridgecrest's beautiful property. They spend most of their days outdoors mowing grass, weeding, planting & watering flowers, trimming hedges, and anything else that our property needs! Join this team if you like being outside!

Essential Job Duties

• Campus Trash Runs, Grass Maintenance, Landscaping (pulling, grading, planting), power washing, spraying/pulling weeds
• Must be able to work on projects independently or with a group.
• Must have time management skills to ensure projects are finished efficiently.
• Must be flexible and able to adjust to a fluid workday & responsibilities based on changing weather conditions, coworkers’ availability and guest demands.
• Must be aware of and practicing Ridgecrest’s Grounds operating procedures.
• Must be able to work with landscaping machinery (mowers, weed eaters, trimmers)

Requirements and Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move 50 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive motions (crouching, stooping, reaching, kneeling, climbing stairs)
• Ability to read & understand chemical labels
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours at a time
• Ability to work in environmental factors such as heat, humidity, noise, rain, vibration, temperature and atmospheric changes.
