Job Title: Seasonal Human Resources Assistant

Primary Function/Department:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The seasonal Human Resources Assistant is under the supervision of the CPO or HR Director and is responsible for the administrative support of day to day Human Resources operations. This candidate must have strong organizational skills and general customer service experience. Seasonal position begin 6/6- 8/8 approx 20-30 hrs per week
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Will be responsible for various aspects of hiring and employment records processes including verifying employee I-9 documents, scanning and uploading employee personnel documents
- Process background checks, motor vehicle reports and Sex offender registry checks
-Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper employment paperwork has been processed ? Assist in organizing and coordinating meetings with employees
- as a liaison between the HR team and other departments and employees
-Be an active member of a team, including, but not limited to, giving your opinion in an appropriate manner, taking on delegated responsibilities, and helping to maintain the physical, emotional and mental health of each staff member.
-Provide other administrative support as assigned ? Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-High level of interpersonal skills; Previous HR experience preferred.
-Strong organizational skills
-Extensive knowledge of computer programs; Google Suite, Asana, Paylocity
-Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations
-Bi-lingual (proficient in Spanish) preferred but not required.
-Excellent communication and organization skills, a strong and reliable leader

Requirements
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust
Employee may be required to traverse on rough terrain
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
May be required to sit for extended periods of time.
