Second Shift, Resident Assistant, Full-Time, or part time

Job Summary:

The Resident Assistant provides general assistance to all residents and provides personal care to residents as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as directed on Point of Care (POC), including assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, breakfast prep, transfers, bedtime assistance, and self-administration of medications.


• Document tasks provided on POC.


• Assist Dining Services in serving food and drinks in dining area and delivering meal trays to resident apartments as needed.


• Perform other duties as assigned.


• Willingness to cross-train and assist where needed.


• The employee is required to maintain all HIPAA information in confidentiality.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to read, write, and understand information and directions in English.


• Must be able to use PointClickCare on iPad.

Education/Experience:

• Experience in personal care.


• STNA certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must exhibit clean and neat personal appearance.


• Must be in good physical health.


• Be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.


• Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
