Security Guard

Fondomonte is seeking a dependable security guard to help maintain a safe and secure environment at our hay press facility. This part-time position is responsible for monitoring property access, enforcing company policies, and ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and company assets. 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control property access; ensure only authorized personnel enter the site


• Maintain visitor and delivery logs


• Assist vendors with check-in procedures


• Conduct foot patrols to monitor for safety hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations


• Inspect buildings, doors, and gates to ensure security


• Enforce company Health & Safety policies


• Document incidents and report concerns to management


• Provide assistance and direction to employees and visitors

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older


• High School Diploma or GED preferred


• Prior security experience preferred but not required (training provided)


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if needed


• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions


• Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods


• Professional demeanor and ability to work independently


• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and any other required pre-employment screenings, consistent with California law

Work Environment

This role requires working outdoors ind may involve walking, standing, and performing physical tasks. 

Starting Pay Rate - $17.00/HR 

This is a part-time position - approximately 3 days per week.
