Security Guard - YMCA

The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a reliable and professional, part-time Security Guard to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our members, visitors, staff, and facility.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail,  with the ability to identify potential security issues and handle them in an efficient and timely manner. 

The Security Guard will be alert at all times and must assure that all persons entering the building are authorized to do so.  You will also have the ability to

Hours: Part Time; including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

• Verify that all restricted areas are locked for the safety of members and staff.
• Continuous monitoring of security camera system.
• Monitor/walk thru of locker rooms, steam room, and sauna as requested.
• Assist front desk staff and/or custodial staff with cleaning common areas and grounds as needed.
• Assist in the set up/clean-up of special events as requested.
• Assist staff to monitor and assure members and guest adhere to the Y’s Code of Conduct.
• Report any deficiencies and suggest specific corrective action to management
