Job Description - Security Officer

Security Officer (IT Facility)

Schedule: Part-time (2 days a week)
Schedule: Monday and Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:45 PM

Location: Northborough, MA
Pay rate: $18.00 - $19.00 hourly

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct bag checks at designated checkpoints if needed.
Patrol the factory floor, entry points, and surrounding grounds to monitor for safety and security issues
Monitor visitor activity to ensure compliance with property policies.
Provide directions, information, and assistance to visitors and staff
Complete daily incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
Assist with opening and closing procedures

Requirements :

Prior experience in security, especially in roles involving access control, screening, or event security, is strongly preferred.
Ability to remain on foot and mobile for extended periods during assigned shifts.
Strong attention to detail and heightened situational awareness.
Customer service experience strongly preferred
