As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, patients, and staff with professionalism and care. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.87 -$18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate clearly with healthcare personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
