Part-Time Caregiver – In-Home Care
We Serve Minneapolis West & South Metro (Chanhassen, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Bloomington, Burnsville, Apple Valley, St. Louis Park, Edina, Eagan, Richfield, and nearby areas)

At FirstLight Home Care of Minneapolis West & South Metro, We provide training, support, and recognition for every team member. Whether you’re an experienced caregiver or new to the field—no prior experience is required—we’ll equip you with the tools to succeed.

We’re hiring part-time caregivers for daytime hours who want to build a flexible schedule while making a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

What We Offer

• Competitive pay: $18–$20/hr (based on experience, certifications, and availability)


• CNA-licensed caregivers start at $20/hr

Schedule

• Part-time, daytime hours


• Every-other-weekend availability is important


• Holiday shifts as needed


• Hours matched to your availability and client needs


• Optional overnight hours

Your Role
Provide compassionate, one-on-one care and support, including:

• Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)


• Mobility assistance and transfers


• Meal preparation and light housekeeping


• Medication reminders


• Transportation for errands and appointments


• Companionship and emotional support

Requirements

• 18 years or older


• Reliable transportation, driver’s license, and auto insurance


• Reliable cell phone


• Weekend availability (every other)


• Completion of onboarding, TB screening, training, and orientation


• Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills


• Commitment to consistent, reliable care
