Part-Time Family Assistant/Nanny in McKinney, Texas
Location: McKinney, TX 75071

Children: Two elementary-aged children
Compensation: $30-$32/hr, based on qualifications and experience
Benefits: 1 week PTO, gas reimbursement
Schedule: Monday to Friday, mornings required

We are a busy family in McKinney, TX, looking for a proactive and responsible family assistant/nanny to support us with childcare and household management. The ideal candidate will have experience in both childcare and household tasks and be comfortable with light meal prep.
Key Responsibilities
Morning Routines: Assist with getting the children ready for school and handle drop-offs.
Meal Preparation: Prepare breakfast for the children and mom, including packing school snacks.
Meal Planning: Follow dietary guidelines for meal prep, such as chopping vegetables, seasoning meats, baking muffins, and preparing protein snacks.
Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
Clothing Organization: Manage children’s clothing, including seasonal changes and outgrown items.
Errands: Run errands such as grocery shopping and visiting the post office.
Household Management: Light tidying and organization, as the family has professional cleaning twice a month.
Holiday Decor: Assist with displaying and storing seasonal decorations.
Coordination: Work with other household service providers, such as cleaners and contractors.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a family assistant, nanny, or in a similar childcare role.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and clean driving record (valid driver’s license and insurance required).
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with both children and parents.
Legally eligible to work in the United States and willing to pass a background check.
Fluent in English and able to provide regular updates to parents.
Must be pet-friendly (small dog).

Expected Hours: 20 per week
$30 - $32 an hour
