Server Assistant

Description

Server Assistants play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant  

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist waitstaff by promptly refilling water glasses, coffee/tea if ordered, replacing utensils and clearing plates between courses, obtaining condiments and proving assistance as needed
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, ensuring their needs are met to enhance their overall dining experience
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked supply of utensils, napkins, condiments and other necessary items
• Assist with general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and guests
• Provide support to other team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods or special events

Requirements

• 1 year experience in high volume restaurant preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be a Team player
• Must be detail oriented

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent walking, standing – lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• Will walk for long periods of time, possibly extended distances.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on outlet.
• Varied weather conditions are expected. 
• Varying schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as business dictates.
