Do you like keeping things organized and enjoy working in a busy, energetic environment? The Georgetown Branch, located in the Georgetown Square shopping center, is one of ACPL’s busiest locations. As a Shelver, you’ll help keep our library running smoothly by shelving books and other materials, ensuring items are in the right place, and assisting with the flow of materials so customers can easily find what they need. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in accuracy and enjoys being part of a team that serves a diverse and active community.
Must pass the Dewey Decimal Skills Test before application will be considered. The Dewey Decimal Skills test can be taken at any library location during hours of operation. There is a study guide available on the ACPL career site.
This position will work 12 hours per week and the schedule is flexible.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay is $11.47 per hour and up based on experience
