What you'll do as a Shipping and Receiving Associate for Barsplice:

• Responsible for promptly shipping and receiving incoming and outgoing orders.
• Obtains finished products from inspection to fill orders for stock items or special orders, carefully verifying identifying information and quantities
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack safely to load and unload goods
• Receives “wrap and pack” orders correctly
• Handles return shipments to manufacturer for repairs
• Fold and assemble boxes for parts and packaging
• Packages orders for local or out-of-town shipments
• Maintaining and establishing records and documentation of all types as required
• Ensure all safety and personal protective equipment is always in place
• Follow Work Instructions, procedures, and company policies
• Other duties as required

What It Takes to Succeed as a Shipping and Receiving Associate at Barsplice Products:

We’re looking for people who take pride in quality work and want to grow their careers in manufacturing — whether you’re just getting started or bringing years of experience

• Able to read, write, and comprehend written and oral instructions
• Able to operate forklifts
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to walk, push, reach overhead and bend to the floor
• Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force regularly
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over an extended period
• Ability to repeatedly lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds; objects up to 70 pounds occasionally
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a focus on shipping & receiving
