Job Summary:

The Shipping Handler will be responsible for assisting the Senior Operations Director and the rest of the Shipping team to fulfill orders for 350+ retail by helping stock shelves, pick orders from the finished goods shelving, and restocking shipping lines in a fast-paced warehouse environment. 

Supervisory Responsibilities

· No supervisory responsibilities at this time. 

Duties/Responsibilities

· Keeps stock organized and easily accessible for shipment to promote warehouse organization and cleanliness

· Utilizes pick to cart system to prepare candles for shipment

· Replenishes shipping lines of packaging materials to ensure packers can consistently and efficiently ship out orders

· Stocks candles on shelves as they are completed by the Production team

· Assists loading the truck with finished packages as they come off the shipping conveyor

· Completes shipping end of day tasks daily 

· Occasionally executes proper procedures to pack and prepare shipments to maximize efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction

· Exhibits a fast, fun, and friendly attitude toward job responsibilities, co-workers, and supervisors 

Requirements

  Required Skills/Abilities: 

· Ability to work quickly and efficiently. 

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Ability to self-start and take initiative. 

· Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. 

· Ability to function well in a team environment that is high-paced and at times (let’s be honest, we’re talking Q3 and Q4) stressful.

· Ability to exhibit the small business mindset, even as the business grows. 

· Willingness to shift and be flexible with changing goals and timelines.

Education and Experience:

No education or experience required.

Physical Requirements: 

Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. 

Standing work approximately 90% of the time. 

Environment Requirements:

Working in an environment with various fragrances and scents. 

Travel Requirements:

No travel required.
