Site Supervisor

We’re looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to join the School District 197 School Age Care team as a Site Supervisor, working with children in grades K–8.

Your Role Will Include:

• Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate SAC program in line with policies and philosophy, overseeing schedules, rosters, and staff management to ensure a positive environment and effective program delivery.
• Supervise program activities, guide children's behavior positively, and maintain a safe environment while communicating regularly with parents/guardians and school staff, including monitoring student files and intervening in emergencies as necessary.
• Anticipate and address challenges, conduct program observations for quality improvement, and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned, including working non-school days and participating in off-site field trips.

Qualifications:

• One or more years of relevant work experience in education or school age care and knowledge of child development.
• Strong leadership skills in program development and evaluation.
• Experience building successful teams and supervising staff.
• Strong communication skills, high degree of flexibility.
• Working effectively in a team environment, ability to work as a team member.
• Experience with special needs children is desirable.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive pay, starting at $24.43-$26.67 per hour. 
• The position will start on August 25, 2025. Applicants must be able to work 8:00 am-4:00 pm, Aug. 25-29, 2025 for staff development and site set up. 
• September 2nd is the first day that will be onsite with SAC participants.
• Strong support network with ongoing staff development and a team environment.

Location & Shift Times:

• Pilot Knob Elementary, Monday – Friday, 1:00-6:00 pm, 5.0 hours per day/25 hours per week
• Heritage Middle School, Monday – Friday, 6:30-8:30 am, 2.0 hours per day/10.0 hours per week.
