Immediate Opening: Skilled Caregiver Needed in Pittsburg, Kansas

Late evenings on the weekends can be one of the hardest times for those in need of care. Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is looking for compassionate, skilled caregivers who can step in during those hours and make a real difference.

This part-time role is for Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm and offers the opportunity to bring comfort, dignity, and a sense of security when it’s needed most.

Why this role matters:
During late evening hours, clients often need extra support with mobility, personal care, and companionship. If you have experience with a Hoyer lift and the heart to provide genuine, hands-on care, we’d love to talk with you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Helping the client with their end-of-day routine
• Assisting with personal care and hygiene
• Offering steady companionship and reassurance

What we’re looking for:

• Dependable and compassionate caregivers
• Experience with Hoyer lifts preferred
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
