Late evenings can often be the hardest time of day for individuals living with developmental disabilities. Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking an experienced, compassionate caregiver who understands the unique care required for individuals with specialized healthcare needs. Prior direct support care experience is beneficial, but not required.

Position Details:

• Part-time schedule: Monday 4 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 4 pm to 10 pm (flexibility for occasional weekend hours is appreciated)
• Focus on helping with evening routines, companionship, and reassurance

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with personal care and end-of-day routine
• meal preparation
• Provide patient, understanding companionship
• Help create a calm, comforting environment to ease evening stress

What We’re Looking For:

• Dependable and compassionate caregiver
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
