Skilled Nursing - 2 Hours/Month - Contract Needed

Position Summary:

Caretech Wyoming is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing services to an individual client in their home. This is a contract position with a starting commitment of 2 hours per month, offering the opportunity to grow as client needs evolve.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, and passionate about delivering high-quality care, ensuring the health and well-being of our client while maintaining compliance with state regulations and Caretech policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  Provide nursing care and health assessments to the assigned client in accordance with state regulations and Caretech policies.

  Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the client’s physician, if applicable.

  
  


• 
  

  Document care provided, including observations, interventions, and outcomes, using Caretech’s approved documentation system.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with Caretech staff, caregivers, and the client’s care team to ensure coordinated, person-centered care.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and report changes in the client’s health status to Caretech and the appropriate medical provider.

  
  


• 
  

  Educate the client and family on health maintenance, medication administration, and disease management as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain strict confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere to all Caretech policies and Wyoming state nursing regulations.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Current and unrestricted Wyoming LPN or RN license.

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home health, long-term care, or community-based settings.

  
  


• 
  

  Current CPR/First Aid certification.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the client’s home.

  
  


• 
  

  Must pass a background check and meet Caretech’s credentialing requirements.

  
  

Contract Details:

  Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (to be discussed during contracting process).

  Independent contractor role (1099) – contractor is responsible for their own taxes, liability insurance, and licensure maintenance.
