This position assists in the overall success & growth of the Total Soccer Academy program and facility. The Soccer Coach will meet with clients, understands goals, and maintains program expectations for In Shape Family Fitness through sessions, assuring client improvement and satisfaction, and meets sessions and sales goals. This position will assist in the overall goals of the department, including and not limited to selling of new memberships.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Assist the department in the success & growth of the Total Soccer Academy program and facility; including engaging in member retention and customer service, maintain a high level of cleanliness inside the facility, and general maintenance of soccer equipment
Selling of new memberships through tours, evaluations, and trials.
Deliver Total Soccer Academy sessions to meet or exceed standards and expectations of program
Assist in skill development with workouts by connecting, correcting, competing, and challenging the members
Perform on-site events, camps, clinics to generate new membership growth
Communicate effectively with members, coworkers and manager verbally and in writing
Maintain regular and predictable attendance
Ensure facility is kept clean and safe at all times through routine maintenance and safety checks
Attend all mandatory meetings in club as well as offsite; in addition to conference calls
Promptly and thoroughly reviews all requested health and safety training provided

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS – WHO YOU ARE:
High School Diploma or GED required
Coaching experience highly desired
Strong service orientation and desire to deliver an outstanding member experience
Computer literate – proficient at MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Word
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding organization and strong time management skills
Work quality must be highly accurate, timely, and in accordance with company policy and procedures
Excellent task completion and follow-through skills
Must demonstrate professionalism, cooperation, and ability to work well with all parties
Maintaining focus in a sometimes hectic and evolving environment
High regard and propensity for safety
Willing and able to work a flexible shift: evenings, weekends, and holidays
Current CPR or ability to pass CPR certification within 60 days of hire date
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work professionally and effectively with people at all levels of the organization with physical locations spread throughout the portfolio
Ability to work with interruptions, changing priorities and a busy work environment with tight deadlines
Self-motivated with high energy with a positive attitude
Self-managing with the ability to work independently to accomplish tasks
Displays good judgment, confidentiality and diplomacy in handling important company information and communicating with others
Passion for fitness/health/wellness
Ability to understand and process administrative requests, employee FTE impact on budgets and reconcile hours worked to training sessions worked
Knowledge of fitness terminology and methods

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk and stand up to 8 hours/day and/or sitting for extended period of time. Employees may be exposed to cleaning chemicals or airborne particles and will be required to wear designated PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as directed. Employees are frequently required to use hands and fingers for handle or feel; frequent reach, push and pulling with arms and hands; occasional climb and crouch, frequent balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl; and frequent reach and twist, including side-to-side movements. The employee may be required to occasionally lift, carry or move up to 25-50 pounds and may seldom be required to lift, carry or move 26-50 pounds.
