Soccer Coach

Description

Come join the team at HCI Sports & Fitness! We are seeking talented soccer coaches who are excited about the sport and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young athletes and the community. Coaches will mainly be working with children from ages 3-12. Our coaches provide leadership, supervision, and structured instruction to the athletes. Responsibilities include:

• Conduct yourself in a responsible, moral and professional manner at all times
• Work cooperatively with directors, support staff, and renters of the facility
• Plan and lead training sessions
• Assist with cleaning and organizing the facility and equipment
• Participate in continued education opportunities
• Assist in the idea generation process for HCI Soccer - camps, clinics, leagues, tournaments, etc.
• Availability to work weekends, some holidays, and various shifts, as needed
• Various other duties as assigned, such as community appearances, administrative work, assist with communication, etc.

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of a USSF 4v4 Diploma, USC Foundations of Coaching Diploma, or approved youth license before working directly with children 
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, including ability to listen and respond appropriately to children and adults
• Professional personal presentation 
• Strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detail 
• Team oriented mindset 
• Ability to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge and skills and have the ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
• Willingness to work flexible hours, the ability to multitask, and work well under pressure
• Ability to motivate players, teach the game, and educate players, coaches, parents, and the community
