Soccer Shots® Southwest Chicagoland is hiring a Part-Time Soccer League Coordinator to help lead our recreational soccer league for children PreK–8th grade. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is passionate about youth sports, organized, and ready to make a lasting impact in the community.

Position Details

Compensation: $25/hour

Season Commitment: Fall - August 26 – October 25, Winter - 12/13-2/28 (Off 12/27 and 1/3), Spring - 4/7-6/6

Fall and Spring Schedule:
- Tuesdays: 4:45–7:15 pm
- Thursdays: 4:45–7:15 pm
- Saturdays: 8:30 am–11:30 pm

Winter Schedule - Saturday only 8:30 am - 2:00 pm

Location: Dellwood Park, Lockport, IL

Responsibilities

Coach practices using our established curriculum while adapting to players’ needs.

Oversee and referee games on Saturday mornings.

Support coaches and parent volunteers to ensure smooth operations.

Communicate effectively with parents and league staff.

Manage field set-up and clean-up each session.

Qualifications

At least 18 years old and out of high school

Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the fall, winter, and spring seasons.

Some soccer playing or coaching experience required

Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills

Comfortable engaging with children, parents, and staff in a positive and professional manner

Physically able to run, kneel, and carry equipment (bags with balls, nets, etc.) for several hours

Passionate about youth development and committed to treating all children equally in a recreational environment
