Sonographer- Outpatient PRN/Per Diem

UConn Health Imaging is seeking a Sonographer to join our patient-focused team!

Position Status: PRN (as needed for staffing gaps, vacation coverage, call-outs, etc.)

Location: Outpatient Imaging Center located in Farmington @ 5 Munson Road, Suite 110

We offer a total compensation package including competitive base pay, shift differential pay for qualifying shifts, and a 401(k) company matching program. No on-call or holidays!

Our outpatient imaging center, which opened in 2024, is now preparing to expand its hours and grow our team!

Requirements

EDUCATION:

• Must be a graduate of an approved program of diagnostic sonography.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be registered or registry eligible through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) or ARRT (S). RVT certification required within one year of hire, in addition to one of the following: OB, Abdominal or General. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
