About the Job: You will be providing bilingual (Spanish) in-person academic support to STH students to help close the achievement gap. In this role, you will push into Grades 6–8 Math and ELA classrooms, working alongside teachers to support student learning and improve access to instruction. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

As an Education Champion, you'll provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam prep. You’ll collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive academically and personally.

Qualities We Seek:

• Passion for Learning: Dedicated to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
• Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school (or virtual program) and participate in monthly training.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work alongside teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.
