Job Description - Special Education Occupational Therapist


Title: Special Education Occupational Therapist
Location: Indian Community School, Albuquerque, NM

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to six identified students.
  • Perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required documentation.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress assessment.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to occupational therapy services in a school setting.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in occupational therapy.
  • Licensed School Occupational Therapist certified in the state of New Mexico.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in occupational therapy.
