Boston Speech Therapy is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Special Education Teacher to join our team! We offer a competitive rate of $70 per hour for a role focused on providing pull-out services for students in grades K-8.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support outside of the classroom setting. Your expertise will help these students thrive academically and socially as you tailor your teaching to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students in a pull-out setting
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to enhance student learning
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional techniques as necessary
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to optimize student success
• Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress

Qualifications:

• ; Master's degree
• Valid state certification in Special Education in MA
• Experience working with K-8 students, particularly in a pull-out model
• Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and appropriate teaching methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Commitment to the academic and social growth of all students

• 1099 position
