Special Education Tutor

Special Education Tutor (Math & ELA, Elementary Grades) Needed! 

We’re looking for a patient, skilled, and caring Special Education Tutor to work one-on-one with elementary students in Math and English Language Arts.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting students with learning differences and helping them build strong academic foundations while gaining confidence in their abilities.

What You’ll Do

  Provide individualized instruction in Math and ELA to elementary students.

  Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each learner.

  
  


• 
  

  Use multisensory, engaging methods to support comprehension and skill development.

  
  


• 
  

  Encourage and motivate students while celebrating progress.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate with families and staff to ensure consistent support.

  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 
  

  Experience tutoring or teaching elementary Math and ELA.

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding of strategies and accommodations for students with learning differences (e.g., dyslexia, ADHD, autism).

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication, patience, and empathy.

  
  


• 
  

  Dependable and organized.

  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  

  Degree in Education, Special Education, or related field.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with IEPs or 504 plans.

  
  


• 
  

  Teaching credential (not required, but a plus).
