Job Description - Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Description

Full-Time (4-day schedule) or Part-Time (choose your own schedule)

**Clinical Fellows are invited to apply**

Are you a passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) looking to support early learners in their communication and feeding needs? Elevation Autism Center provides a team-approach for treatment of children with autism ages 1-7 to learn to thrive. We are expanding our speech teams at our Alpharetta and Duluth clinics.

The SLP works with clients with a range of language, speech, and feeding diagnoses and collaborates with neurodiversity-affirming BCBA’s who incorporate evidence-based treatment methods rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This cross-disciplinary approach allows us to achieve our best outcomes for our young clients through the opportunity to join ABA team meetings, BCBA meetings, and parent trainings, and the SLP conducts meetings to teach GLP, AAC, and other speech/language/feeding techniques to the other professionals. The SLP gains the support for behavioral and environmental techniques so the child can focus on learning language and feeding skills.

Elevation Autism Center is an independently-owned provider of early intervention ABA and SLP services to the Atlanta community. We serve the unique needs of children from 1- 7 years old with comprehensive programming in a fun and engaging environment. Our mission is to help others reach their fullest potential, and we’re committed to delivering exceptional early intervention services for families in our community.

The SLP will focus on improving articulation, voice, functional communication, AAC skills, feeding, and higher functioning language skills targeted during sessions and via home programs to aid in generalization of skills.
