What we are looking for:

Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a dedicated per diem SLP to pick up home care cases in and around the Hollis, Queens area. Come be a part of a growing organization on a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!

Job Type: Per Diem

Schedule: Flexible

Setting: Homecare

Location: Queens, including Hollis

Pay rate: $60-$80/hour (depending on experience)

Requirements

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications
