JOB TITLE: Sports Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
FLSA TYPE: Non-Exempt, Hourly
JOB PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Sports Coordinator will be responsible for the administration and management of youth sports, adult leagues, and all sports specialty camps at assigned locations. Major emphasis and responsibilities must be in the areas of budget, facility, community relationships, program and staff quality and the positive approach to problem solving. This position serves as a member of the Y’s Leadership Team. They will provide the community with sound programs in accordance with the YMCA goals and objectives while modeling, practicing, and carrying out the Y values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Staff must strive to work cooperatively with fellow employees to achieve the goals and objectives of the YMCA.
