Job Description - Staff Pharmacist

We are actively looking for a Staff Pharmacist to support our long-term care pharmacy in a part-time capacity!


Shift:  Monday-Friday 2 PM - 6 PM with rotating weekend work.
Compensation:  $60.10/hr

Pharmacist:
As a Staff Pharmacist, you are responsible for the accurate and timely review of medications being processed
and dispensed at MMP. We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative individual with a proven track
record, experience, and industry knowledge to scale MMP’s operation and execute our transformation from a
regional to a national LTC pharmacy provider.

This position reports to the Pharmacist Supervisor and is critical to the operational success of MMP. The
position may require long hours and/or weekend work to fulfill position responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current, and in good standing, Illinois Pharmacist License
  • Long-term care pharmacy experience required
  • FrameworkLTC/DocuTrack knowledge is a plus
  • Willing to become Pharmacist in Charge (PiC) and/or take additional state licenses within 3 months of
    notice if the company deems necessary
  • Current Immunization Certification
  • Able to multitask and work under deadlines while maintaining a positive and productive demeanor
  • Punctual and reliable in all situations
  • Track record of proactively tackling issues in a timely and decisive manner
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, adapt to changing dynamics, and find solutions that
    satisfy multiple stakeholders of the business.
  • Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills, ability to effectively communicate
  • Professional demeanor and appearance with excellent customer service skills 
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail
  • Willing to travel to communities to assist with immunization clinics, valid driver's license, and reliable
    transportation.
